Spilling Wine And Secrets

Most people dont realize that our world is filled with symbols that we subconsciously use to interpret the thoughts and actions of those around us. Let me share a short story with you to illustrate what Im talking about. . .

Imagine for a moment that you are on a date at a very nice restaurant. The two of you decide to share a beautiful bottle of red wine with your meal. So far things have been going very well and for the first time that day, you find yourself beginning to relax and enjoy the moment.

As you take your first sip of wine, you begin to watch the piano player in the corner of the restaurant who is playing one of your favorite songs. A few moments later, you find yourself shifting your glance back across the table and notice that your date is smiling at you. You are suddenly feeling very attracted to this person and you feel the need to be physically connected. Putting aside your fears, you reach across the table to touch their hand as the familiar butterflies begin race in your stomach.

Just as you are reaching across the table, however, your sleeve accidentally catches the top of your wine glass and you watch in horror as your almost full wineglass begins to tip. You grab your glass as quickly as you can and then look to see how much of the wine spilled onto the restaurants pristine white tablecloth.

Describe what you see. . .

A.) The tablecloth is soaked by the red wine and the glass is completely empty

B.) There are several large red blots on the tablecloth but there is still some wine left in the glass

C.) There are a few drops of wine that spilled out but most of it is still in the glass

D.) Luckily you caught the glass in time and only one small drop got onto the tablecloth

Please choose your answer from the above list before reading any further.

It should probably come as little surprise that most alcoholic drinks are psychologically associated with feelings of sexual desire. It is believed that the way in which you imagined yourself spilling the wine, is how you subconsciously see your current level of sexual desire as well as your ability to keep it under control (i.e. by catching the glass in time).

A.) If you imagined that the wineglass was completely emptied and the tablecloth was covered in wine, your sexual drive is probably currently running in overdrive. For whatever reason, you not only feel this desire strongly, but at times you sense that you have very little control over it.

B.) If you imagined that you were able to save at least a small amount of the wine and there were only several large red blots of wine on the tablecloth, then your current level of sexual desire is currently quite high, but you are probably willing to wait for the right person to come along.

C.) If you imagined that only a few drops of wine spilled out and you were able to save most of it; you currently have a normal level of sexual desire but you do a fairly good job controlling these impulses when they appear.

D.) If you imagined yourself catching the glass before almost any of the wine spilled onto the tablecloth, your current level of sexual desire may be a bit lower than normal (due to a recent illness perhaps) or perhaps you are simply the type of highly-controlled person who is able to hide that aspect of yourself in public.
