Chamber Vacuum Sealer - Bulk Vacuum Packing
Food has to be vacuum packed for selling and storing. When food is stored in airless state then no microorganisms can grow on the food. There can be no contamination or rotting of any kind. Normally food is either packed in packets or bottles and vacuum sealed. Without any atmospheric oxygen food does not get spoilt, as there are no fungi or aerobic bacteria that can grow. Long-term storing of dry foods like cured meats, nuts, cheese, cereals, coffee, crisps, and smoked fish is done by vacuum packing them. Even liquids like soups and fresh foods like meats and vegetables last longer when they are vacuum-sealed. For bulk vacuum packing chamber vacuum sealer is used. The chamber sealer can be used to vacuum pack even non-food items.
Vacuum Sealer Types: There are two kinds of vacuum sealers available including external and chamber sealers. External vacuum sealers are generally used for low volumes of food production. Chamber sealers operate on a very high speed compared to the external ones. For bulk vacuum packing the chamber sealer is more appropriate due to the speed at which it packs. For industrial usage chamber sealers are used extensively.
Vacuum Packing Method: The method of packing is very different for chamber sealers and the external ones though both the sealers use bags to seal the product. What an external vacuum sealer does is that it simply removes air from the bag and seals the item. A chamber sealer on the other hand removes air from the bag and from the whole chamber then seals the bag. Thus the bag is also sealed in a vacuum. This ensures the item is 99.99 per cent free of air after the packing. Chamber sealers also make it possible to replace the natural air that has oxygen with some other gas like nitrogen that is ideal for packing of potato chips. The chamber sealer is fitted with an inert gas kit. Certain delicate foods need the removed air to be replaced with some other gas.
Availability of sealers: Vacuum sealers are present in the market in various sizes. You must find out the largest size of the product that is to be vacuum packed. This will help you to determine whether you must go in for a chamber sealer or an external one. A chamber vacuum sealer also makes it possible to pack a number of products at one go in the chamber. This increases the speed and lowers the cost. There are various chamber sealers available in the market. You must do thorough research of all the models and go through their features before you decide on which one to go for. Try and go in for reputed companies and the model that provides maximum advantages to you. Most of the machines are also available online. Going through the various sites will help you to compare the features of different machines and decide on the best one. You must also read all the feedback and reviews of the customers. It will help you to make a better choice. Keep a check on the warranty offered by the company. Also find out if there are part replacements available. The chamber sealer can be used even if you need to vacuum pack bedding, clothing, documents, plates, expensive items, etc. If your business is a large scale one or you have a store that needs vacuum packing extensively you must go in for a chamber vacuum sealer.
